The bachelor thesis describes organic farming in general terms, explains the function of certification organisations and compares the basic criteria. It focuses on the differences in subsidy policy in the compared countries, which are the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Austria. It also seeks to highlight the possibilities and opportunities in the field of organic farming. It also highlights the weaknesses and strengths of the sector. It finally suggests possible further developments in organic farming.

The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of worksheets and their use in education in agricultural subjects. Creating worksheets is a time-consuming activity, but their use brings many positives. This bachelor thesis points out their usability in a specific subject animal husbandry. The theoretical part briefly defines the subject of animal husbandry and material teaching aids that can be used in it. It summarizes the basic characteristics of worksheets, their conditions, types of questions and learning tasks and the possibility of use in teaching. The practical part presents the possibilities of using worksheets for students and methodological sheets for teachers related to the subject animal husbandry. The thesis presents 3 worksheets for students, methodical sheets and correct worksheet completion for teachers, as an example of possible variable usage, compilation and structure across the subject according to the needs of teachers and students.

Legislation for breeding animals

The " Legislation for breeding animals" thesis gives overview of laws and regulations in this area. The respective legislation is included in many acts and regulations of public law, mainly the laws protecting animals from abuse. Some aspects of entrepreneurship and animal trade are included in private law. One part of the thesis covers international agreements and European legislation. Out of secondary European legislation the thesis discusses some regulations relating to the topic. The thesis also contains chapters on legislature concerning animal abuse, veterinary care and animal trade. It states differences in record keeping of farm animals and pet animals. The thesis also deals with animal trade, farming, breeding facilities and animal shelters. The thesis contains a chapter on competencies and the distribution of competencies among the authorities. There is a list of some competencies relating to the topic at every authority, with some authorities there are issues which are rarely addressed in publications (e.g. animal training licence or alternative dispute resolution for consumer disputes). The thesis also provides chapters on criminal acts and offences. Changes brought by act No. 114/2020 Sb. which changes the act No. 40/2009 Sb., Criminal Code, as subsequently amended, are described in...

Zásady správného zacházení a manipulace se zvířaty

This bachelor thesis is about the issue of welfare and protection of animals against cruelty. The first part defines concepts such as welfare and animal abuse, and sums up milestones in the history of animal protection from antiquity to modern times. In addition, three areas, namely the USA, the EU and China, are compared from the point of view of access to animals and welfare conditions. The second part is dedicated to the protection of animals against cruelty in the Czech Republic and the work of the State Veterinary Administration of the Czech Republic is evaluated from the beginning of its activity until 2016. And the last chapter describes the minimum standards for animal housing and transport and also authorized methods of fixation and slaughter.

Zootherapy experience of primary school pupils

The bachelor thesis deals with zootherapy experience of primary school pupils. Zootherapy, history of zootherapy, types of zootherapy, organisations dealing with zootherapy and information about animal breeding in schools are described in the literature review. Methodology of the thesis deals with questionnaires of primary school teachers and pupils. It was found that most pupils know what zootherapy is and what is her purpose, mainly because of media. Most pupils also said that they would like to know more information about zootherapy. In questionnaires of primary school teachers was found that teachers do not like the idea of involvement of zootherapy in teaching process and animal breeding in schools as well.

This Master thesis is dedicated to pasture and the overall image of animal husbandry in Central Europe in La Téne Period and Roman Age. An important part is evaluation of osteological assemblages grazed animals, the question of the spectrum of species and creating models applied in the territory of today's Czech republic. A meaningful component of this study is comparison farmed animals at the time of La Téne and Roman period. Title Selected Aspects of Animal Breeding at Primary Schools Abstract Content of the work is based on my diploma thesis. It is focused on the most problematic parts of a settlement of school breeding. The theoretical part of my thesis is based on a study of specialized literature and interview. It describes history and present state of breeding, especially school breeding. The second part of the thesis is devoted to the basis of school breedings. First of all, there is a survey of a complicated legislation in the field of interest breeding, which discourages teachers from breeding. The next chapter contains information concerning health hazards for students, especially about allergy and phobias. That is why a special attention is focused on problems of suitable species for school breeding in the next chapter. The last chapter contains inspiration for teachers in writing of Gerald Durrell.

The bachelor thesis deals with design and development of a web application for breeders. It focuses on problems of racial breed and their requirements for the breeding. This application provides users group memberships and the opportunity to be in touch with friends or find new ones. It describes the implementation of the application built using MVC architecture. The application was developed using JavaServer Pages, Struts2 and AJAX.
